Maintenance and settings of Fortinet equipment

We are certified ‘gold’ Fortinet partners which means that we have certified experts who know how to install and maintain Fortinet products. Seeing as Fortinet offers a wide range of products, we decided to limit ourselves to the following:

  • FortiGate / FortiWiFi,
  • FortiAP,
  • FortiClient – or the entire End-point protection system,
  • FortiDDOS,
  • FortiWeb,
  • FortiMail,
  • FortiSandBox (Cloud and solution for customer),
  • FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager.

What do we have to offer?

Design and configuration of the system

We help and advise you when choosing the equipment. Doing so we do not exaggerate with the equipment size and prefer to begin with a smaller device. When we are in doubt we rather suggest renting equipment, and in that case we take the risk associated with potential return of under-dimensioned equipment.

As a part of the project we then carry out the transition from the existing system, where we can transfer Cisco configurations into the new system even before the installation.

When starting up the system we optimize configuration and turn on additional functions (ids, ips, antivirus check ups, web filters, ssl verification, etc.) which was not possible with the previous equipment, and if needed we can connect the system with the central domain registry (Active Directory, Radio or LDAP).

At the end we write documentation and hand the system in use. Where necessary we also help with organizing internal regulations on electronic surveillance of employees.

Preventive maintenance of systems

We keep the system under surveillance with external monitoring system, installed on ours or on our customers equipment. We support systems of the same manufacturers:

  • FortiManager in
  • FortiAnalyzer

and also open source solutions

  • Zabbix and
  • ElasticSearch ELK

We routinely preform system upgrades that are previously tested in our environment. We periodically review the system manually and make a document with recommendations on further improvements.

Adaptive maintenance

We assure our customers outsourcing services in terms of ongoing configuration changes. Thus, the client does not need an in-house personnel for maintaining those systems, or we can even take over those duties during holidays and other absences.

For mastering quality and response time for all these services we use electronic ‘ticketing’ system, which makes notes on applications and response and produces monthly reports.
